Stanza is an independent, non-commercial passion project built for people who love poetry. By using Stanza you agree to these terms. They are written to be readable, not to hide anything — please take a moment to look through them.
Using Stanza
You are welcome to use Stanza to:
- Discover and read classic poems
- Write and share your own reviews and ratings
- Follow other readers and engage with the community
- Use the AI poetry guide with your own API key
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Your Content
Reviews and other content you post on Stanza remain yours. By posting, you grant Stanza a non-exclusive licence to display your content to other users of the platform. You are responsible for what you post. Please keep it respectful — this is a community built around appreciation of literature, not a place for harassment, spam, or abuse.
We reserve the right to remove content that is harmful, offensive, or violates these terms, and to suspend accounts that repeatedly cause problems.
Poems and Copyright
Stanza features classic poems that are in the public domain. Plain-English translations and contextual notes are original to this project. If you believe any content infringes your copyright, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
AI Features
The “Ask your AI” feature uses API keys you provide directly. Stanza acts as a pass-through — your key is used server-side to call your chosen AI provider, and responses stream back to you. You are responsible for your own API usage and any costs incurred with your chosen provider. Stanza makes no representations about the accuracy or quality of AI-generated responses.
No Warranties
Stanza is provided “as is”, as a personal project offered free of charge. We make no guarantees about uptime, reliability, or continued availability. The service may be modified, paused, or discontinued at any time without notice. Use it at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stanza and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Stanza after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
